COSPLAY CONTEST

The Main Cosplay Contest will occur on Saturday, September 28, 2013 starting at 7:30PM in the main Panel room after the rest of the convention closes.

There will also be a Children’s Cosplay Contest on Sunday, September 29, 2013 during the show hours.

Come dressed as your favorite character, comic book, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, or otherwise.

There will be several categories to compete in. You may even win as “Best in:________”

Prizes will be awarded during the contest.

The Simple Rules:

You must have an attendee wristband or badge to participate.

  • No store bought costumes. You must have made at least 75% of the costume yourself or  received help from a parent.
  • No functional weapons, including any projectiles shot from the stage.
  • Judging of best costumes will be partly on craftsmanship, complexity, similarity to presenting character, and presence.
  • All decisions made by the judges are final.

So do the best that you can, but most importantly, have fun, enjoy yourselves, and be safe.
